Terms of service
The consultation will be between you (The Client) and Cornerstone Renovations Ltd (Cornerstone Renovations).
The consultation was arranged via www.CornerstoneRenovations.co.uk, which is owned by The Computational Engineer Ltd, registered office address RM 1701, 17/F, WAI FUNG PLAZA, 664 NATHAN ROAD, Hong Kong.
The terms and conditions of the consultation are as follows:
Scope of the Consultation
Advice Only:
Cornerstone Renovations provides advice and recommendations based on the information provided by The Client. We are not responsible for or liable for any actions taken on-site, construction outcomes, or issues that arise before, during or after the execution of the project.Engineering and Architectural Design Disclaimer:
Cornerstone Renovations does not provide engineering or architectural design services. We will not produce any drawings, specifications, or designs as part of the consultation. The Client must hire licensed professionals for any structural, engineering, or architectural work required for the project.Property Location:
The property under discussion must be located within the United Kingdom. If The Client disregards this and books a consultation for a property outside the specified region, a partial refund may be issued, as administrative fees apply to process refunds.Property Type:
The consultation covers single domestic dwellings only (houses or flats). Consultations for HMO properties, mixed-use developments, subdivisions, or multi-unit developments will not be provided. If The Client disregards this, only a partial refund may be issued due to administrative fees.Media Usage Rights:
Cornerstone Renovations reserves the rights to any media, including images, video recordings, or virtual meeting screenshots, gathered during the consultation or on-site visits. This media may be used for internal purposes, marketing, or educational content unless The Client provides explicit written notice requesting otherwise before the consultation.
Consultation Process
Time Allocation:
The consultation will last the length of time specified on www.CornerstoneRenovations.co.uk,. Extensions are at the discretion of Cornerstone Renovations.Fee Structure:
The fee for the consultation is as listed on www.CornerstoneRenovations.co.uk.Preparation:
The Client must provide the requested information during registration prior to the consultation. Without sufficient information, Cornerstone Renovations’ ability to provide accurate recommendations may be limited.Budget Disclosure:
The Client must disclose their construction budget before the consultation. If the project is determined to be unfeasible within the stated budget, no refund will be issued, even if alternative approaches are suggested and not pursued.Termination of Consultation:
The consultation may be terminated without refund if:The Client is found to have engaged another contractor, architect, or designer for the same project.
The Client is suspected of attempting to evade taxes, bypass statutory approvals, or violate health and safety laws.
Limitations and Liabilities
Statutory Approvals:
Cornerstone Renovations does not guarantee or provide assurances that any statutory approvals (e.g., planning permissions, building permits) will be granted. This responsibility lies solely with The Client and their hired professionals.Construction Outcomes:
Cornerstone Renovations is not liable for any construction outcomes, including delays, cost overruns, or structural issues. The Client accepts full responsibility for all construction-related matters.Third-Party Recommendations:
Any advice to consult additional professionals (e.g., engineers, architects, or surveyors) is provided for guidance only. It is The Client’s responsibility to secure these services and consider all advice collectively.Cost Estimates:
Cornerstone Renovations will not provide detailed or binding estimates for construction costs or professional fees. Any figures mentioned during the consultation are broad estimates and exclusive of VAT.No Ongoing Obligations:
After the consultation, Cornerstone Renovations has no further responsibility or obligation for the project. A written summary of the discussion will be provided, but no ongoing support or services will be offered.
Dispute Resolution and Complaints
If you believe the consultation did not meet these terms, please contact us at hello@cornerstonerenovations.co.uk with your full name, consultation date, and the address of the property discussed.
